In partnership with the Town of Smiths Falls and with the support of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, OMAFRA is offering a full day workshop for food processing businesses. The workshop is on Developing a HACCP plan (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
This full day interactive workshop will help guide you through the process of developing a HACCP Plan specific to your operation.
Participants should be very knowledgeable about the product(s) and manufacturing processes at their facility. Each participant will be provided with a binder to work through.
Please bring the following materials to the workshop:
- A blueprint or facility layout of your plant
- A list of the products you manufacture and a list of the product ingredients (including the packaging materials)
Participates are encouraged to bring their laptop if they wish to complete their HACCP Plan on their computer
The workshop is from 9am-4pm with registration at 8:30am.
The cost is $25 (includes morning coffee and lunch)
