Ross Video is Honored with a Prestigious Emmy® Award for Technology & Engineering for Primestream’s Cloud-Enabled Remote Editing and Project Management

Ottawa, Canada, March 10, 2022 – Ross Video is honored to be recognized as the recipient of a prestigious Emmy® Award for Technology & Engineering from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).

“The Technology & Engineering Emmy Award was the first Emmy Award issued in 1949, and it laid the groundwork for all the other Emmys to come,” says Adam Sharp, CEO & President, NATAS. “We are extremely happy about honoring these prestigious companies, again in partnership with NAB, where the intersection of innovation, technology, and excitement in the future of television can be found.”

Ross is being honored for its Primestream media asset management system, which enables broadcasters to access content creation workflows remotely and across geographically dispersed facilities quickly and efficiently.

“In addition to allowing broadcasters to collaborate between multiple locations, Primestream asset management system enables hybrid access models for both on premise and remote work across the globe to their advantage in producing high-quality daily news shows,” says Alan Dabul, Ross Product Manager – MAM and Storage. “Primestream accomplishes this by providing access to multiple resolutions of media files along with creative panel integrations that can dynamically switch modes of operation to adapt to the access location.

“We are delighted to be able to provide this production flexibility and advantage to our customers, and honored to be recognized with this prestigious award,” says David Ross, CEO of Ross Video. “Primestream asset management allows our customers to realize the full advantage of cloud-based production.”
