WMCO has been successful in securing funding for WMCO wood manufacturing members in Ontario.
The project is over 2.5 years and will fund 50 companies with digital integration projects. The first round will fund 10 companies for expenditures between April 1, 2023 and with final expense claims due February 28, 2024. This is to meet the WMCO’s March 15 reporting schedule required by FedDev Ontario, as the funding provider.
Future rounds:
- April 1, 2024- Feb 28, 2025: 18 Projects
- April 1, 2025- Feb 28, 2026: 22 projects- 2 at half the budget amount

Funding is based on eligible expenses up to $100,000 at 45% funding ($45,000 funded maximum). All expenses associated with project costs need to be included to capture full project investment by industry.
Completed project plans are now being accepted for Round 1.
