A new art gallery celebrating the natural beauty of Eastern Ontario is opening in Lennox & Addington County. Artist Leonard Carlyle Skinner will be unveiling his spectacular collection of artwork that depicts a variety of Eastern Ontario landscapes, as well as his collection of abstracts. His landscape oil paintings grace homes all around the world.
In November 2011, Belleville will open a new, state-of-the-art facility, producing fresh, retail-ready meats. The Belleville service centre will be home to the most advanced, food processing technology.
The Bombardier Transportation facility in Millhaven is creating 20 new jobs in Ontario East as part of an upgrade that is being funded by $750,000 from the provincial government.
“Today’s announcement of 20 new jobs will also open up new opportunities for Bombardier in the global mass transit market and is already generating new business for local companies,” Gerretsen says.
